In this blog post, I will detail the 7 key features of “Design Online” that are designed to make your design process easier and more efficient. You can also watch a video version for more information.
Templates and Customization
Before starting your design, such as a brochure, ensure you select the appropriate size, material, and quantity. “Design Online” offers a selection of ready-made templates for quick adaptation or allows you to create your design from scratch for a more personalized touch.
Templates: You can choose a ready-made template from “Templates” or design your own.
Text and Layers: Easily add text to your design by clicking “Text,” where you can directly edit or modify content through the “Layers” function. This tool also supports advanced features like “Curved text”, enabling you to adjust the font size, color, radius, and spacing for unique designs. If you accidentally add unnecessary text, simply click the text and press the “delete” key or select “X” in “Layers” to remove it.
Backgrounds: Personalize your design with a solid color background by choosing from the “Backgrounds” section.
Cliparts: Decorate your design with various patterns available in “Cliparts”.
Photos and Images: Enhance your design by adding personalized images through the “Upload,” “Image Url,” or “Webcam” options in “Photos”. For a more professional look, choose preferred background images from websites like “Pexels” or “Unsplash”. Use the “Layers” function to manage image placement and prevent obstruction of existing content.
Element Tool
- Draw: The “Elements” section offers a “Draw” feature for those skilled in hand-drawn creations, supporting a range from simple sketches to complex artworks.
- Shapes and Codes: Use the “Shapes” feature to segment text content by choosing various shapes and changing colors for differentiation. The “Bar/QR-Code” feature simplifies the process of generating a barcode or QR code by entering a valid website.
- Grid/Photo Frame and Maps: Cover the entire screen with an image by clicking on “Grid Frame” and selecting a layout. The “Photo Frame” feature allows adding a personalized photo to the design. Incorporate a map by entering your location in the “Maps” section and choosing from “Roadmap”, “Satellite”, “Terrain”, or “Hybrid” views, adjusting the size as needed.
We hope these tips will make your online design process easier and more efficient.
